Seat 5000 and 2300 Arthrodesis
The 5000 and 2300 Arthrodèse chairs are designed for people who require specific positioning of the pelvis and/or lower
limbs (legs and hips). The front of the seat is divided into two independently adjustable sections, allowing each side to be positioned optimally to prevent pressure points while maintaining proper back support. This ensures that blood circulation is not restricted, and the user can work comfortably and pain-free—for example, with a limb extended.
The 5000 Arthrodèse chair is a “wide” version of the 2300 Arthrodèse chair. It features a wider seat surface and a taller backrest, and is available with a Synchronous mechanism and a headrest.
These chairs can easily be paired with a single- or double-sided leg rest .

The “Arthrodesis” Seat
The mechanism known as “arthrodesis” refers, in a work chair or armchair, to a split seat designed to alleviate stress on the lower limbs. The front of the seat is therefore divided into two sections, each of which can be adjusted to a different angle independently. This adjustment helps, for example, reduce pressure on users who must maintain a posture with one leg extended, and minimizes the strain on the pelvis associated with this position. Finally, the seat incorporates a third section at the rear, which is also adjustable in tilt to further increase the angle of the pelvis.
